The Story
This kit allows you to retro fit your existing MORRFlate Hose kit to work plug n play with your Air Hub!
1 Kit Includes:
- (2) Male NPT to Female 1/4″ Universal Push-To-Connect Couplers
- (2) Male 1/4″ I/M to Female NPT fittings
Want to turn your existing MORRFlate Hose Kit into an Air Hub Modular Hose Kit? It is simple! Take the below items and follow the below instructions! You can also find the instructions in a printable format here.
What You Need:
- (1) Air Hub Retro Fit Kit
- (1) 9/16″ Wrench
- (1) 5/8″ Wrench
- (1) 3/4″ Wrench
- (1) Apprx 2ft section of PTFE tape
What to Do:
- Use the 9/16″ wrench to fully unthread and remove the hoses from the black MORRFlate Manifold (righty righty, lefty loosey!)
- Clean up the threads of any pre-existing PTFE tape or gunk.
- Wrap apprx 6″ of PTFE tape (3 wraps) around the male threads on the ends of the hoses in a clockwise direction
- Wrap apprx 6″ of PTFE tape (3 wraps) around the male threads on the ends of the supplied black and green couplers in a clockwise direction
- Thread the supplied Female NPT to male I/M fittings onto the ends of the hoses. Using the 5/8″ and 9/16″ wrench, tighten to roughly 12lbft .
- Thread the supplied black and green couplers into your black anodized manifold. Using the 3/4″ wrench, tighten to roughly 12lbft.
If you have an Air Hub, then you no longer need the black anodized manifold assembly. But it is nice to keep it as a spare, back up, or for other uses like an air hose splitter in the garage!
